Day 4: 14th April, 2006
"Our morning starts with a visit to the aromatic Spice Bazaar, where the smells of cinnamon, cloves and thyme, rise from hundreds of colorful muslin bags at every store-front. We then board our ferry boat for a relaxing cruise along the shores of the legendary Bosphorus, the natural gateway that divides Asia and Europe. As you sit back and enjoy Turkish coffee or well-brewed tea from traditional small cups, numerous summer palaces and palatial homes will pass by on either side. Disembarking at the northern end of the Strait, we proceed to a restaurant for a tasty meal of local fish. Following lunch we will travel by coach to the Suleymaniye Mosque, built by master architect Sinan during the reign of Sultan Suleyman the Magnificent, the Lawgiver. The last stop will be Grand Bazaar, with nearly 4000 shops of antiques, jewelry, gold, carpets and leatherwear"
And so bermulalah hari ke empat with RAIN! Yes, seperti alam ini mengetahui yang diri ini dilanda kemurungan katanya akibat dirompak malam semalam. Seperti alam menyedari yang diri ini sedeh, namun terpaksa diharungi jua. Seperti alam ini tahu, hujan itu menunjukkan tangisan air mata yang membasahi pipi... HEY! APE NIH!? Jiwang katanya!? Hehehe...

"Following breakfast, we drive to the 'Old City' where we will visit the Hippodrome, The Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, the Blue Mosque, famous for its delicate blue ceramic tiles and Saint Sophia. This church - turned mosque - turned museum takes the breath away with the sheer architectural size of its interior and magnificent dome and next we will visit the spectacular Topkapi Palace. Built on one of the seven hills of Istanbul, this huge complex commands views of the Sea of Marmara, the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn. It was the seat of government for the Ottoman Empire for many centuries (1453-1852) and we will see the extravagant Treasury, the priceless Chinese porcelain. Following our return to the hotel for a quick rest and a change, we will proceed to welcome the evening with dinner at an Istanbul night spot with live music and Belly Dancing."
Well - itu yang tertera dalam program / itinerary yang mek buat utk clients mek la kan. So dalam entry nih, biar lah lebih mesra jika saya membahaskan (membahaskan ker masalahnye? Hehehe) hujah² day 3 nih dalam bahasa saya sendiri, NAH!? Hiks! (MATI LA NIH ENTRY KEDUA KALI KATANYA - 1st entry tadik HILANG, GONE, KAPUT bile PC jammed katanya - hanjeng!)
The day was glorious sangat - sunny, breezy (eh, macam nama agency mek pulak. hiks!) dan walaupun sedikit sejuk, tapi memang it was a very nice day to start the tour. And since the tour pada hari ini memang banyak require me and my clients to JALAN gunakan kaki, elok dan molek sangat lah kan cuaca cam nih... Bak kata Dato' tu, "It's a very fine day. Elok lah, senang berjalan. A good form of exercise in a way, with a very fine weather..." Yang part exercise tu, Dato' perli I EK!? Hehehehe... |

Lepas dah snappy², mek minum coffee la (to keep me awake – mek couldn’t afford to tidur, kang dengan aku sekali kang DELAYED keluar dari bilik, NAYA JA!), tgk tv la, itu ini – pup pap pup pap dosi 4.30am. Terus mek double check with Mathilda, one of the KLAS peep yang sunggoh baik hati bersms dengan mek, for any updates on the departure. Org Jakarta katanya, contract keje 2 tahun dengan KLAS. Hehe. So dia ala² terus kasik 1st class service kat mek dah clients mek, sebab mek spedo dia katanye clients mek bukan taraf VIP, tapi VVIP! Hiks! Terus nih, attentive gile! Then showered bagai semua, at 5.10am mek kejutkan clients mek itiew and terus met them at the lobby sebab Mathilda cakap confirmed 6.50am departure. While waiting for my clients to turun ke lobby, mek lepak² dengan Mathilda and si Sam, Emirates ground manager for that day. He also very der attentive nih, helpful gilos – like, nak ensure everything went smooth for my guests, and me of course. Hehehe...
My clients turun ke lobby sajork, katanya nak terus proceed ke terminal. So all of us skipped breakfast yang diprovidekan kat Pan Pac tu (menyesal pulak aku pi skipped breakfast itiew. Yer lah, 4 org clients mek, boleh pi dok kat lounge Business class itiew. HABIS, mek!? Melepasss lah breakfast kaedahnye!)
So from Pan Pac lobby, katanya naik buggy itiew, transported five of us from the lobby ke level 3 lift ke tingkat 5 for departure. Kesian lah pulak si Mathilda tu keja berkejaran dari Pan Pac ke terminal. Hiks! |

Belle picked me up from Volk’s place at around 8pm cam tu la lebey kureng. Potpet sana potpet sinik, 8.30pm baru gerak pi KLIA. Volks dinch ikut, so kaedahnye mek bye bye dengan dia kat umah dia sajork. So off me and Belle went dalam jeepnya itiew ke KLIA. Dalam kerets, aiyoh! Sambung potpet potpet lagi katanya. Had some few good laughs though dengan makcik itiew. Opps! Biase la, org pepempoannn... gossip sajork kejenye. Hiks!
And after like, 45mins, sampai lah ke KLIA itiew. Belle parked the car, and then ikut teman mek pi check in katanya. Sampai jer level departure tu, nengok la board besau tu, nak nengok counter mano Emirates bukak for checkin’ in. Alih² ade pulak tulisnya ginik...

So happens that both of the mempelai ni kawan I; its just that the pengantin perempuan yang mek kawan since standard 1, and the pengantin lelaki mek kenal since... since... erm, form 1? Ha lebih kurang cam gitu la. With the pengantin perempuan, memang mek rapat. The pengantin lelaki, walaupun mek dosi kenal dia since form 1, tapi tak pernah la nak rapat sangat pon. Lately nih sajork sebab memasing dosi tua - OPPS!
4th was the majlis kat umah pengantin lelaki, today (March 5th) was the majlis di sebelah pihak lelaki. Both of them tinggal pulak, tak jauh dari my house. The pengantin lelaki's house lagik la, in the same neighbourhood, bole?
